Meltdown rockin' Richland on June 27-28

Meltdown Musicfest is upon us.

The fun starts at 6 p.m. June 27-28 in the parking lot at Kimo's Sports Bar, 2696 N. Columbia Center Blvd., Richland.

The music features rock, alternative, indie, pop, hip-hop, rap and just about any other new sound in today's music.

All ages are welcome, but there will be a beer garden for the 21 and older crowd.

Tickets cost $8 per night in advance, $10 at the door. Two-day passes are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Tickets are available at Kimos and www.tri-cityevents.com/meltdown.

Twelve bands are scheduled to perform. Plus, there'll be tattooing going on each day.

June 27

6 p.m. -- Honor Amongst Thieves

7 p.m. -- CAB

8 p.m. -- Chase Thompson & The Reach

9 p.m. -- 45th Parallel

10 p.m. -- IV rock band.

June 28

6 to 11 p.m. -- Tattooing

6 p.m. -- Dead Poets & Mo Syllablez

7 p.m. -- From The Dust with guest Beefy

8 p.m. -- A Killing Dove

9 p.m. -- Plants Eat People

10 p.m. -- Mister Orange
