If you've never been to a FingerFest, then now's the time check it out.
This will be the last time this free music festival will kick off summer events at Howard Amon Park in Richland, said Frank Cooper, the event's organizer.
"This year will be the fifth and final FingerFest," Cooper said. "I'll be putting on another music festival next year that will include beer gardens, but there won't be free admission like FingerFest always has been."
Headlining this year's festival, which starts at noon Saturday on the fingernail stage, will be funk band Funky Doody, jazz group Dara Quinn Trio, blues bands The Vaughn Jensen group and Java Tones, rock band Blue is Cold with Tom Gnoza and The Millionaires Club playing everything from country to classic old school tunes.
