Great Prosser Balloon Rally set Sept. 22-24

The 27th annual Great Prosser Balloon Rally is Sept. 22-24.

A total of 17 hot air balloons are expected to participate. Rides aren’t available to the public, but plenty of other balloon-centered fun is planned.

Balloons will launch at 6:45 to 7 a.m. each day, weather permitting, and the public is invited to head to Port of Benton’s Prosser Airport to watch. Admission and parking are free.

The popular night glow is at dusk on Sept. 23, with balloons lit up and synchronized to music. The event is at Art Fiker Stadium in Prosser, with gates opening at 5:45 p.m.
