Hu-Swenson

Chandara Hu and Matthew Swenson, both of Kirkland, exchanged wedding vows Sept. 5 at Central Union Church in Honolulu Hawaii. Reverend Dean Vestal officiated.

She is the daughter of Jean and George Hu of Honolulu, Hawaii. He is the son of Rosemary and Joseph Swenson of Richland.

Honor attendants were Michelle Puu-Lozier and Joel Henley. Other attendants were Greg Henley and Irene Gianan.

Flower girls were Adeline Anderson and Ava Hermelee.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Hawaii School of Law with a juris doctorate and the University of Washington Law School with a master's of law in taxation. She is an attorney.

The groom is a graduate of Hanford High School and Washington State University with bachelor's degrees in criminal justice and political science.

They live in Kirkland.
