Grant-Wong

Laura Grant of Walla Walla and John Wong of Pullman were married June 27 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Clarance Ashe officiated.

Her parents are Nancy Grant of Walla Walla and the late Bill Grant. His parents are Kit Yuen and Hon Leung Wong of Vancouver.

Honor attendant was Robert Rinehart. Other attendants were Samantha Grant Herriot, Hope Grant Herriot and Maggie Grant Herriot.

The bride is a graduate of Walla Walla High School, Walla Walla Community College, Eastern Washington University and Northwest Nazarene University. She is a fifth-grade teacher and 16th District state representative.

The groom is a graduate of Diocesan Boys' School, the University of British Columbia, Robert Morris University and the University of Maryland. He is a professor at Washington State University.

They live in Walla Walla.
