Kara Logan and Richard Berlin, both of New York City exchanged wedding vows Sept. 27 at Shemanski Fountain in the Park Blocks in Portland. Susan Stamberg officiated.
She is the daughter of Karen Logan of Hermiston and Dennis Logan of Kennewick. He is the son of Martha and Ira Berlin of Washington, D.C.
Flower girls were Karlie Logan and Samantha Wittenstein.
Readers were Angela Little and Richard Milner.
The bride is a graduate of Santa Clara University with a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's degree in education. She is a major gifts officer at the Robin Hood Foundation.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison with a bachelor's degree in political science and attended a master's program in political theory at the London School of Economics and Political Science in London. He is the executive director of Harlem, RBI a youth development and education organization. He is the founder of Harlem RBI's DREAM Charter School.
They live in New York.
