It should come as no surprise that the Americans fell from third to sixth in this week's CHL poll.
After losing a pair of games — to teams they shouldn't have — the Americans were replaced in the No. 3 spot by Everett, which was not ranked last week. Saskatoon, which handed the Americans a 5-3 loss Wednesday, were eighth in the poll. I look for the Blades to move up and the Americans to be lucky to find a spot in the top 10 if they drop another game on their Eastern swing.
