Landon Donovan scored his first two goals of the season and added an assist to help the Los Angeles Galaxy beat the Portland Timbers, 3-0, on Saturday night in a Major League Soccer game in Carson, Calif.
Donovan returned to the lineup following a three-game absence because of a knee injury.
