The April bird walk on Bateman Island is an opportunity to possibly spot bald eagles, many species of ducks and shore birds in the middle of migration season.
The April 4 walk is organized by the Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society. Participants will meet at 8 a.m. at Wye Park above the causeway to the island. Bring binoculars if you have them and be prepared to walk for several hours.
