49 Degree North Mountain Resort plans to open its slopes to skiers Nov. 28 with a limited amount of terrain available for downhill skiing, the resort said in a press release.
Chairs 1,3, and 5 will be open but unpredictable weather could change that status. Skiers and snowboarders are encouraged to check the ski area’s website at www.ski49n.com for updates.
The ski area is in the Colville National Forest about 10 miles east of Chewelah and 42 miles north of Spokane.
Silver Mountain Resort also plans to open for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, snowshoeing and scenic rides Nov. 29-30. For more information and to check for snow conditions go to http://www.silvermt.com.
