OTHELLO, Wash. -- Columbia National Wildlife Refuge offers year-round hiking and wildlife viewing.
New offices and a visitor center are located on the refuge at 51 S. Morgan Lake Road, six miles northwest of Othello.
The refuge is seeking volunteers willing to spend time in the office as well as help out in other areas.

The refuge is 30,000 acres and includes a mixture of rugged cliffs, canyons, lakes and sagebrush grasslands.
To get to the refuge, drive 5.5 miles west of Othello on McManamon Road.
Turn right on Morgan Lake Road.
The refuge is a half mile further on the right.
