The Columbia Basin Chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society will lead the following hikes in June:
* 9:30 a.m. Saturday: Badger Mountain. See the last of the spring wildflowers. Meet at the parking lot off of Dallas Road. Hike time will be 2 hours.
* 9:30 a.m. June 9: Bateman Island. Check out the native and invasive plant species; learn to identify poison oak. Meet at the Bateman Island parking area on Columbia Park Trail. Hike time will be 2 hours.
* 8 a.m. June 16: Tour of BFI Native Seeds in Warden. BFI grows native grasses and forb species for restoration. Meet at the federal building parking lot in Richland to car pool.
