The Tri-City Americans, along with Les Schwab Tire Centers, are partnering on a donation drive to help aid the fire victims of North Central Washington.
The drive will take place from noon to 5 p.m. today, Monday and Tuesday in the main foyer of Toyota Center.
Former Americans captain Mason Wilgosh (2011-12), who is a volunteer firefighter in Canada, will be on hand to kick off the event today.
Fans donating $10 or more worth of items will receive a free adult ticket to the Sept. 21 game against Prince George.
The following items are most needed: toiletries, generators, sleeping bags, tents, bottled water, propane, batteries, flashlights, lanterns, disinfectant wipes, garbage bags, diapers, paper plates and plastic utensils, can openers, pet food, scissors, coolers, sleep pads, camp chair and non-perishable food items. Cash donations also will be accepted.
