Americans lose on the road at Everett

EVERETT — The Tri-City Americans were shut out for the first time this season as Austin Lotz stopped all 29 shots that came his way in leading the Everett Silvertips to a 2-0 victory Friday night at Comcast Arena. The Americans (2-4-0-1, 5 points), eighth in the Western Conference, have today off before playing a Sunday matinee at Victoria.
