Forward Kruise Reddick was named the Tri-City Americans' playoff MVP on Monday.
The 5-foot-8, 177-pound forward from Manor, Saskatchewan, appeared in all 22 playoff games and led the team with 11 goals and 24 points as the Americans won their first Western Conference championship and reached the WHL Finals.
Reddick ranks second on Tri-City's career playoff scoring list (17 goals, 46 points) behind Calgary Flames star Daymond Langkow.
"(Kruise) had an exceptional postseason and showed a real knack for contributing offensively in big moments," Americans general manager Bob Tory said in a release. "It's truly been exciting to see his growth and development over the past four seasons in an Americans uniform."

Also on Monday, the team announced forward Todd Kennedy anddefenseman Riley McIntosh, both 19, were placed on WHL waivers and will not return next season.
