Here's the draw for Sunday's races for the unlimiteds:
Never miss a local story.
As a side note, there will only be two heat races -- 3A and 3B -- later Sunday afternoon, with the top 12 boats competing.
The idea is that attrition will knock at least one boat out of the way by then. But it could be more. The U-7 Formulaboats.com never made it into the water Saturday. Meanwhile the U-25 Procraft Master Windows jerked hard to the inside during Heat 1C on Saturday, and driver Ken Muscatel shut the boat down.
Actually, he had no choice. "We had a steering failure," said Muscatel, who was knocked against the canopy wall. "It beats the hell out of the body. I've got a headache and I'm gonna be sore tomorrow. I'm still on adrenalin right now."
Muscatel, who looked beat up and had red marks on his face, hopes to have the steering fixed by today, but "this is a catastrophic failure."
