Richland’s Lisa Bratton is scheduled to swim in three events at next week’s Pan Pacific Championships in Gold Coast, Australia.
The incoming Texas A&M freshman will compete in the 100- and 200-meter backstroke and 200 individual medley.
Bratton is seeded 15th out of 22 swimmers in the 200 back. She clocked her seed time of 2 minutes, 11.57 seconds during her third-place finish at last week’s U.S. national championships in Irvine, Calif.
Bratton is seeded 16th in the 100 back (1:02.01) and 26th in the 200 IM (2:18.37).
She will compete in the heats of the 100 back Wednesday night (PDT), 200 back Friday night and 200 IM on Saturday night. Gold Coast is 17 hours ahead of the Tri-Cities.
