Umatilla’s Andrea Lemus-Cisneros won the 200 meters in 25.72 seconds, finishing ahead of runnerup Justyce Smith of Riverside and her time of 25.93, at the Oregon State High School Track and Field Championships on Friday at the University of Oregon.
Umatilla’s 4x100 girls relay team of Amie Zitterkob, Adriana Madrigal, Kassandra Galbraith and Lemus-Cisneros finished second in the 3A event with a time of 50.82 seconds.
Zitterkob was second in the 3A girls 100 meters at 12.675 seconds, just edging out teammate Lemus-Cisneros, who was third at 12.677 seconds.
On Thursday, Riverside’s Smith leaped 17 feet, 2.75 inches to win the Class 3A girls long jump.

Also on Thursday night, Umatilla sophomore Fabian Cardenas won the 3A boys 3000 meter run, finishing in 8:46.87.
In the girls Class 5A meet, Hermiston’s McKenzie Byrd repeated as javelin champion, winning with a toss of 142-4.
Byrd also finished second in the high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 4 inches.
Hermiston’s Alejandro Cisneros and Jose Macias finished second and third, respectively, in the Class 5A boys 3000 meters.
Summit’s Matthew Maton won the event in 8:29.87, while Cisneros (8:39.49) and Macias (8:42.00) were right behind him.
In 2A boys, Stanfield’s Hunter Braithwaite placed second in the 400 meters with a time of 52.16 seconds.
