TACOMA - The first round of the Class 3A state gymnastics meet is over, and Southridge freshman Kiya Bjorge is in position to qualify for the finals in all four events she entered today at the Tacoma Dome.
Bjorge is first in the bars with 9.475 and first in the floor with 9.75. She is second in the vault and the beam with 9.475 scores in both.
She has a total of 38.275 in the all-around. The second session is underway.
