The Kamiakin and Southridge gymnastics teams, along with individual gymnasts from Richland and Hanford, will perform in the regional championships today at Central Valley High School in Spokane.
Richland's Carly Garland will be the CBBN's sole competitor in the 4A competition, slated for a 10 a.m. start time. Garland placed fourth (34.550) in the all-around at districts.
She will be tumbling against her GSL counterparts for the 4A's two all-around state berths.
And the Braves, the Suns and Hanford's Kayla Lasater will have control of the floor when the 3A competition begins at 2:45 p.m.
Kamiakin earned the CBBN district championship Feb. 3, and Southridge placed second with freshman Kiya Bjorge leading the all-around performances, her 37.425 total guiding the Suns.
The Braves' Michelle Fletcher (36.475) and Danielle Brandon (36.250) placed second and third in the district all-around, and Lasater (33.150) placed fifth.
