Next weekend, it's Part 2 of the Kamiakin Braves-Bellevue Wolverines rivalry.
Kamiakin beat Kennewick 22-14 on Saturday at Lampson Stadium in the Class 3A state quarterfinals, setting up a rematch of last year's state final against Bellevue. The Wolverines won the title with a 38-0 victory against the Braves. The game will be Saturday at Lampson.
Kaden Julian threw a 56-yard touchdown pass to pull the Lions within eight, but Kennewick ended up not being able to escape a 4th-and-23 situation with 1:02 to go.
Kamiakin enters the semifinal showdown against Bellevue with a 12-0 record, while Kennewick's season ends at 10-2.
