* 1954 -- The home coaching debut of Dwight Pool was a success. Dave Wilbur paced a torrid ground attack for Pasco with touchdown runs of 73 and 30 yards and the Bulldogs pulled out a 20-18 victory against Milton-Freewater.
* 1983 -- Jane Brahler of Walla Walla finished the 10-kilometer Richland course in 38:21, while Michelle Reynolds of the Tri-Cities won the 1-mile race with a time of 5:59 to finish in first place in the inaugural All-Ladies Fun Run.
* 1998 -- Erin Leidel scored three goals for Hanford, including one 45 seconds into the game, and the Falcons defeated host Moses Lake 9-0 in MVL play. Kristin Parnell and Melissa Sadanaga shared goalkeeping duties in the shutout.
