NEW YORK -- Rebekkah Brunson had 21 points 13 rebounds and Seimone Augustus added 20 points to lead the Minnesota Lynx to a 75-68 win over the New York Liberty.
Former Kennewick star Leilani Mitchell had seven points and six rebounds for New York. Mitchell started and played a season-high 33 minutes. She contributed four steals and two assists but commited four turnovers.
It was the third straight loss for the Liberty (4-7). Minnesota improved to 5-9.
The game was marred when the Lynx lost Candice Wiggins to a ruptured Achilles' tendon.
Wiggins, Minnesota's first-round draft choice out of Stanford in 2008, injured her left leg in the fourth quarter and left the game with 8 seconds remaining.
