LOS ANGELES -- Richland native Jason Repko avoided salary arbitration by agreeing to a $500,000, one-year contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The deal includes about $125,000 in performance bonuses.
The former Hanford star appeared in just 10 games with the Dodgers last season, going 0-for-5.
The 29-year-old outfielder played 110 games at Triple-A Albuquerque, hitting .277 with 16 home runs, 47 RBIs and 24 stolen bases.
He will compete in spring training for a spot on the opening day roster as a fourth outfielder. Repko has been dogged by injuries since making his major league debut with the Dodgers in 2004.
