The Olympics were too big for Rio in many ways. But the competitions, and the competitors, ultimately overshadowed the glitches. The many moving stories of Olympians stand over the games, as does the remarkable quartet of Usain Bolt, Michael Phelps, Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky.

Mongolian wrestling coaches strip in protest of Olympic loss

Wrestler Mandakhnaran Ganzorig and his coaches thought he had won the 65-kilogram bronze medal match, until his opponent, Ikhtiyor Navruzov of Uzbekistan, successfully challenged the result, saying that Ganzorig was avoiding him in the last seconds of the match. Ganzorig fell to his knees in disappointment; his coaches went much further.
