A day after a mini-outburst produced seven runs, the Tri-City Dust Devils went whole hog at the plate Monday, feasting on Spokane pitching to the tune of a 21-12 Northwest League road win.
Miguel Dilone homered twice and drove in eight runs. He hit a two-run shot in the second, and his three-run blast in the seventh helped the Dust Devils answer a seven-run frame from Spokane.
The Dust Devils (13-12 second half) are off today and take a one-game lead in the North Division to Salem-Keizer to start a five-game series Wednesday.
Dilone also scored four runs, as every Tri-City batter in the lineup crossed home plate. Wilson Soriano went 4-for-6 with a triple and three RBIs in the leadoff spot as the Dust Devils piled up 19 hits.
Among the many highlights, Sam Bumpers had a double and triple, scored three runs and drove in two.
