The Tri-City Dust Devils finished up a six-game Northwest League home-and-home series Tuesday night with a 4-3 victory against the Vancouver Canadians at Nat Bailey Stadium.
The Dust Devils took two of three in British Columbia and went 1-2 in Pasco against the Canadians.
After improving to 9-10 in the second half, the Dust Devils are tied with the Everett AquaSox atop the North Division. The AquaSox beat the Spokane Indians 10-5.
Tri-City scored three runs in the first inning, helped by Sean Dwyer’s two-run single to center. The Dust Devils got a leadoff home run from Jairo Rosario in the second and survived Vancouver’s three-run outburst in the fourth against Logan Sawyer (2-2).
Sawyer, pitching in relief of Andrew Rohrbach, gave up five hits, walked none and struck out two in five innings.
Tri-City will begin another home-and-home series, this time against Spokane, at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at Gesa Stadium.
