The Tri-City Dust Devils overcame a 3-0 deficit after four innings to beat the Hillsboro Hops 4-3 in Northwest League action Friday at Ron Tonkin Field.
The Dust Devils picked up one run in the fifth and another in the sixth before Richard Prigatano drove in two runs with a double to right field to give Tri-City the lead for good.
Two of the Hops’ three runs in the fourth came off a two-run homer by Grant Heyman.
Dylan Thompson (3-1) pitched two innings for the win, while Scott Firth picked up his ninth save.
The Dust Devils finished the 5-game series by winning three of them.
Tri-City hosts the Vancouver Canadians with a 7:15 p.m. gametoday at Gesa Stadium.
The series will also run Sunday and Monday, with Sunday game set to start at 7:15 p.m.
Monday’s game is the rare 11:15 a.m. start.
