The Tri-City Dust Devils snapped a five-game losing streak Tuesday night after they beat the Hillsboro Hops 4-1 in Northwest League play on the road.
The Dust Devils pounded out 11 hits en route to the win.
Josh Fuentes, Chris Rabago and Dillon Thomas each had two hits.
Both Thomas and Sean Dwyer each had home runs for Tri-City. Dwyer’s home run in the sixth was a solo shot, giving the Dust Devils a 1-0 lead.
Tri-City made it 3-0 in the seventh when Thomas led off the inning with a solo homer. Drew Weeks tripled later in the inning, scoring Marcos Derkes.
Reliever Jerad McCrummen picked up the victory, raising his record to 3-0, after pitching three scoreless innings.
Scott Firth picked up his eighth save, pitching a scoreless ninth.
The two teams meet again at 7:05 p.m. today in Hillsboro.
