The Tri-City Dust Devils got back on the winning track with a 2-1 win in 11 innings over the host Everett AquaSox on Friday night in Northwest League play.
Tri-City had lost three straight and five of six coming into the first game of three-game set at Everett and the start of a six-game road swing.Grahamm Wiest had a strong outing for the Dust Devils, giving up six hits and one unearned run in six innings of work, including five strikeouts and one walk.
Tri-City’s bullpen was lights out, with Jerad McCrummen throwing three innings of one-hit ball, and Carlos Yan and Scott Firth closing it out with an inning each. Yan came on in the 10th for a 1-2-3 frame to earn his second win, and Firth struck out two of the three he faced to pick up his sixth save.
Francisco Sosa had a pair of hits for the Dust Devils. Richard Prigatano and Dillon Thomas each drove in a run.
