The first Liz Duncan Memorial Run will start at 9:30 a.m. today at the Howard Amon Park roundabout.
The event, which includes a 10K, 5K and 1-mile run, celebrates the life of Richland High graduate Liz Duncan, who was killed in a hit-and-run accident last year in Seattle while out for her daily run.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Liz Duncan Memorial Fund that provides scholarships to individuals committed to Athletes in Action.
More than 90 runners have registered and will be wearing the same T-shirts, but you can still register this morning at the race site between 8:30-9:15.
