The Los Angeles Lakers signed free agent guard Thomas Kelati on Wednesday.
Kelati spent last season playing for Unicaja in Spain, where he averaged 11.8 points and 1.9 rebounds in 22.5 minutes.
Before that, he played for two seasons in Poland, where he led his team to consecutive Polish League finals appearances. Kelati began his pro career in Belgium in 2005.
Kelati played at Walla Walla High School, where as a senior he averaged 14.5 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals per game. He later played at Washington State, where he ranks on the WSU all-time lists in 3-point field goal percentage (third, .427), 3-point field goals (second, 232), assists (eighth, 274), and steals (seventh, 133).
