Biglin leads Knights to win

Things seemed on their way from bad to worse for the Tri-City Knights after Scott Biglin threw his third interception in just his fourth series Saturday night -- one of which was returned 20 yards by Joel Pears for a touchdown and a 7-0 Bellingham lead.
But the Knights quarterback bounced back in a big way, completing 17 of 32 passes for 338 yards and six touchdowns in a 65-21 win over Bellingham at Lampson Stadium.
The former Pasco signal-caller connected with five different receivers for TDs and completed at least one pass to two others as Tri-Cities stayed in the hunt for the Evergreen Football League regular-season title with three weeks left before the playoffs.
"Everybody wants to talk about me throwing TDs, but my receivers are phenomenal," Biglin said. "They get open and come up with catches. One night it's (Ricio) Tutt, the next night it's (Stevie) Rivas and then it might be (Tony) Coburn. You can't double-team anybody."
Tutt hauled in a 57-yard bomb to tie the score at 7 on the last play of the first quarter and scored again on an 18-yard fade route to make it 34-14 at the half.
Coburn, another Pasco grad, added two second-half TDs -- taking a screen pass 58 yards to the house and then capping the scoring with a 4-yard run.
