Kennewick got pins from its two big men, but Walla Walla won 9-of-14 matches Thursday to defeat Kennewick 45-27 in a Mid-Columbia Conference dual at the Lions Den.
“It was our first (league) outing and it wasn’t a good showing,” said Kenenwick coach Dwane Sitler. “We just did not wrestle like ourselves tonight. We were a little slow and not into the match. We looked better in practice than we did in the match tonight. It’s back to the drawing board.”
