Noah Workman at 132 pounds and Price Seely at 138 gave Richland key decisions as the Bombers topped host Kennewick 46-24 in Mid-Columbia wrestling Thursday night.
Pins by Robbie Calvert in the opening match at 285 and Alex Ramos at 113 got the Lions (1-2) off to a strong start, though the point advantage was erased by a Tamika Pierce’s pin at 106 and wins by Mitch Bieber (120) and Jusitn Webb (126).
Workman then scored a 9-3 win over Kennewick veteran Michael Hosfield, and Seely followed with a 19-9 major decision over Ty Smith, two of the Lions’ toughest wrestlers.
Kody Mars (145), Skyler Mitchell (160), Cameron Simpson (182) and Cody O’Toole (195) followed with pins as the Bombers (3-0) pulled away.

Michael Etherton (170) and Geraldo Rodriguez (220) scored pins for Kennewick.
“It wasn’t our best outing,” said Lions coach Dwane Sitler. “We did some good things and some bad things. We were in some of those matches and just didn’t come through.”

Othello 32, Selah 27: Derek Gilbert recorded the lone pin of the match for the Huskies and it came at a good time.
Gilbert pinned Selah’s Jay Skeen in 30 seconds at 220 pounds, helping host Othello rally for the CWAC 2A dual victory.
The Vikings had rattled off five consecutive victories to take a 27-26 lead before Gilbert’s heroics.
