A day after falling to Kamiakin in five sets, the Southridge Suns made quick work of the Hanford Falcons on Wednesday.
In a match that was rescheduled earlier this season because of a conflict with tonight’s Hermiston-Southridge football tilt at Lampson Stadium, the Suns swept the Falcons 25-18, 25-16, 25-14.
“It was a tough match Tuesday,” Southridge coach John Lengphounpraseut said. “The girls decided to come out and break through. It was great to see. Last night was a tough loss for them. I was kind of worried about their legs two nights in a row, but we took off after five or six points.”
Kylie Fraga, who battled through illness the past few matches, was back to her healthy self with 30 assists and seven digs.
Bailee Drussel had 25 assists, and Elise Simunds finished with 15 digs for Hanford.
