Richland shuts out Sunnyside 41-0, will play Bothell at home on Saturday. Chiawana loses 38-28 to Skyview. Kamiakin beats Gig Harbor 45-0, will play Bonney Lake at home on Saturday. Southridge loses to Lakes 34-17.
Richland dominates Central Valley 37-0, hosts Sunnyside on Friday. Chiawana beats Gonzaga Prep 37-35 in Spokane, hosts Skyview on Saturday. Kamiakin wallops Evergreen 56-16, hosts Gig Harbor on Saturday. Southridge gets by Juanita 35-29, hosts Lakes on Saturday.
Hanford, Southridge are co-MCC soccer champs with 12-2 records. Falcons play Chiawana Thursday for regional 4A championship. Suns play Kamiakin today for regional 3A championship. In volleyball, Richland will play Mead for regional championship Saturday. Pasco plays Gonzaga Prep, Chiawana plays Ferris, Kamiakin plays Southridge.
Ellensburg plays Othello this week to determine the CWAC championship. Prosser needs win over Selah to guarantee spot in playoffs. In the 1A ranks, Royal remains undefeated after 79-0 win over River View and gets a bye this week. Zillah is undefeated in SCAC West.
Bombers host Central Valley on Friday. Chiawana travels to Spokane to play Gonzaga Prep. Kamiakin hosts Evergreen. Big Nine champ Moses Lake has a bye this week. Sunnyside will await the winner of the Chiawana-Gonzaga Prep game.
