Ty Wallin scored the game’s only goal to lead Kamiakin to a 1-0 win over Hanford in the final regular-season game at Lampson Stadium in Kennewick.
With the win, Kamiakin finished in a four-way tie for second in the Mid-Columbia Conference at 9-5 with Richland, Hanford and Pasco.
The Braves will be the No. 3 seed in the 3A subregional tournament and will trave to Spokane on Tuesday. Their first-round opponent has not been determined.
“This gave us momentum going into the playoffs, wich is important,” Kamiakin coach Jeff Bennett said. “We have won our last four games. That’s the way to finish the season.”

Walla Walla 2, Chiawana 1: The Blue Devils earned their third victory in the last four games to eliminate the Riverhawks in the first round of the Mid-Columbia Conference 4A district tournament in Pasco.
Walla Walla won just one of its first 11 MCC conference matchups but beat Southridge and Chiawana over the final two weeks of the regular season. The Blue Devils will face Pasco at 7 p.m. Thursday at Edgar Brown Stadium.
Grandview 6, East Valley 1: Ismael Montes scored two goals and added an assist as the Greyhounds wrapped up the regular season with a CWAC home victory.
Grandview (7-2 league) finishes in third place and will host the No. 6 seed, likely Selah, at 1 p.m. Saturday in the first round of the CWAC playoffs.

Wahluke 2, Royal 1 (SO): Alan Caro stopped all three shots he saw in a shootout against the visiting Knights, helping the Warriors close the regular season with an SCAC victory in Mattawa.
On the first penalty shot, Caro dove left while the shot went right. He was able to kick the ball away, though. He then guess correctly on the next two shot attempts, stopping both.
Meanwhile, Julio Maldanado, Librado Barajas and Ramon Bravo all made their shots and Wahluke knocked off Royal.
The Warriors will host Granger at 4 p.m. Friday in the first round of the District 5 playoffs. Royal is the No. 2 seed and will have a bye. The Knights will host the winner of Warden-Connell next Tuesday.
