Southridge goalkeeper Jovanny Rodriguez made two saves behind a stalwart defense that held Kennewick to just two shots in the Suns' CBBN 3A home win at Lampson Stadium.
Southridge's back four of Connor Cravens, Bill Landefeld, Connor Mertens and Josh Mendoza are a big reason the Suns recorded their third straight shutout.

The Suns held Lions all-league forward Paul Martinez in check, limiting them to only a handful of touches and no real chances on goal.
"Our defense is playing well. Most of (Kennewick's) chances were people coming up and supporting the play," Elfering said. "Both shots came from midfielders."
