Southridge High School is in need of a football coach after Tony Reiboldt resigned Wednesday after six years at the helm.
“We had talked about it with him,” Southridge athletic director Tim Wood said. “We had an inkling it might be coming. He resigned due to personal reasons.”
According to Wood, Reiboldt informed his staff of the move Monday and told his players Wednesday.
Reiboldt took over for Andy Troxel in 2010. Over six seasons, Reiboldt was 28-33, including 7-13 the past two seasons. This season, the Suns were 4-6 with wins over Moses Lake, Walla Walla, Pasco and University.

Wood said the school will open the position next month.
“We will take a look at the candidates and see what we get,” Wood said.
