- The Pasco sideline won't be so lonely. After suiting up just 13 players in one game last year, the Bulldogs will have considerably more depth -- granted, a lot of it will come from promising sophomores.
- McNiel has a year of playing time and offseason experience under his belt, which should help the offense cut down mistakes. Murillo is a third-year starter in the backfield.
- Kreider is an all-league lineman who is setting the tone for an O-line with just one other senior. "We're not blessed with huge size, but they're rollin' up their sleeves and working every day," Lamb said.
- Linebacker could be strength of defense with experience of Murillo and Galvez and promise of Faamausili. Clarke provides an experienced hand in an athletic secondary.
This is the first Pasco class that has spent four seasons in Lamb's system, putting them ahead of the curve of previous seasons. Increased depth should decrease wear and tear on players. If the sophomore class catches on quickly -- keep an eye on Orange -- the Bulldogs could challenge for playoff spot.
"We have an odd mix of a few wily veterans and young kids," Lamb said. "It's a matter of how fast we accelerate the learning."
