A fourth-quarter rally by the East fell short in a 28-21 loss in the East-West All-Star Football Game at Everett Memorial Stadium.
After the West scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to go up 28-0 with 8:56 left in the game, the East roared back with three consecutive scores, the last with 56 seconds remaining.
But the comeback ran out of steam.
Chiawana's Jordan Downing finished with seven carries for 23 yards. On defense, he had a fumble recovery and an interception in the first half.
Central Valley's Gaven Deyarmin went 18-of-29 for 224 yards and two touchdown passes to lead the East.
