Texas A&M freshman Lisa Bratton of Richland placed 15th overall in the 400-yard individual medley at the NCAA Division I women’s championships on Friday in Greensboro, N.C.
Bratton was timed in 4 minutes, 9.01 seconds in the consolation final, where she was seventh out of eight swimmers.
Bratton was 12th overall after preliminaries with a time of 4:08.49. Nos. 8-16 advanced to the B final.
It was Bratton’s second top-16 NCAA finish. She was 11th in the 200 IM on Thursday.

Bratton will conclude her first NCAA championships Saturday with the 200 backstroke, where she is seeded 10th.
• Trinity University diver Danielle Freund (Southridge) was 10th overall in the 1-meter event at the NCAA Division III championships in Shenandoah, Texas. She finished with 401.80 points, just ahead of fellow Trinity freshman Sarah Kate Mrkonich (390.85).
