KI-BE KENNEWICK TAKEOFF: Kennewick’s Josh Leavitt won both hurdles events in a meet with host Kiona-Benton and Sunnyside. Ki-Be’s Vladimir Rizin took the pole vault and javelin.
On the girls side, Sunnyside’s Jessica Linde won the 100 and 200 meters, plus the long jump. Kiona-Benton’s Sarah Vermeire took the discus and javelin, while Kennewick’s Nyakier Deng was first in the high jump and 100 hurdles.
BUCK TRACK CLASSIC: Josiah Niederwerfer led a 1-2-3 Hermiston finish in the 3,000, and the Bulldogs took the boys team title with 134.5 points.
Hermiston also got victories from its 4x100 relay team and long jumper Tyler McCabe.

Host Pendleton was the girls champion with 146, followed by La Grande (102.5) and Hermiston (74.5). Hermiston got wins from Audrey Lincoln in the 100 and long jumper Kylie Wyant.
