The Richland Bombers wrapped up an undefeated Mid-Columbia Conference dual meet girls swim season by winning every event against the visiting Kennewick Lions in a 143-41 rout Tuesday at George Prout Pool.
Richland’s McKenzie Schroder earned victories in the 50-yard freestyle and 100 backstroke. The Bombers swept the top three spots in the 200 free, 200 individual medley, 100 butterfly and 100 back, as well as in diving.
Kennewick’s Alexis Murphy took second in the 50 and 500 free.
The Bombers return to the pool Oct. 25 against Wenatchee.
Hanford led 68-39 after the seventh event, the 100 free, but Wa-Hi swept the top three spots in the 500 free and 100 back to help cut its deficit.
The Falcons held on as Maddie Elliott won the 100 breaststroke and their 400 free relay team swam to victory.
Elliott also was first in the 200 free, and Megan Gelston (200 IM, 100 fly) picked up two wins.
