Pasco's Young sprints to 4A regional titles

SPOKANE – Pasco High's Christian Young used to spend his Saturdays flying over jumps and around courses on a BMX bike. But a nasty accident, which gave him a concussion, whiplash and broke his L3 in his lower back forced him to give up the sport. Now, he runs track and field for the Bulldogs, and if the Class 4A Eastern Washington Regional meet was any indication, he will be doing so for a long time. The sophomore won the 200 and 400 meters and qualified for state in the 100 as well at Spokane Falls Community College.
