PASCO -- The Pasco boys hope to get second-leading scorer Jordan Le Mieux back for this weekend's return to CBBN Columbia play after the 6-foot-5 senior rolled an ankle during the Bulldogs' Dec. 18 loss to Kennewick.
Le Mieux, who averages 8.4 points per game, finished that contest but missed games against Southridge the following night and Post Falls on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs return to league play Friday at Moses Lake.
"We're hoping to get him out there because we sure are a lot better team with him out on the floor," said first-year coach Winton Lytle. "He's a wing player, but he's got good post moves."
Never miss a local story.
-- The injury news is better for Hanford's Brady Haynes.
The Falcons senior returned to practice Wednesday, one day after getting poked in the eye in the first quarter against Southridge.
Haynes, a 6-7 post who averages 12.8 ppg, did not return, and Hanford lost the game 47-42.
"It was just a scratched cornea, so he is good to go," said coach Paul Mayer. "We missed him last night, but we're glad to have him available Friday night (against Chiawana)."
