Walla Walla had four players shoot within 9 strokes of par to finsih with a team score of 317, which topped Richland by 12 strokes at a Mid-Columbia Conference boys pod match at Veterans Memorial Golf course in Walla Walla. The Blue Devils are a half a point ahead of the Bombers with one more pod match remaining in the regular season. Next Monday’s match in Pasco will decide the MCC title.
Bolton Dauenhauer of Kamiain eraned medalist honors, shooting a 3-over 75 to top Austin Brown of Southridge by two strokes.

• The Richland girls ran away with the penultimate MCC pod match, winning the team race by 19 strokes as all four players finished in the top 11, led by medalist Danika Palm at 1-over 73. The Bombers lead the MCC standings with 32 points, followed by Kamiakin at 28, and are a virtual lock for the league title.
Pasco’s Jalayne Martinez took second with a 75.
