NWAACC: CBC women lose tournament opener

The simplest way to winning a basketball game is to score more points than your opponent. For the Columbia Basin College women, that was actually a hard thing to do Saturday in a 75-48 loss to Chemeketa in the first round of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges tournament at the Toyota Center. “We couldn’t hit a shot,” said CBC coach Cheryl Holden. “It was just one of those games. We couldn’t shoot, but we kept playing hard.”
