GRESHAM, Ore. -- Columbia Basin fell 25-20, 25-13, 25-22 to host Mt. Hood but regrouped for a 25-22, 25-17, 25-21 defeat of an Oregon State University club team at the Mt. Hood Classic in Gresham, Ore.

TACOMA -- Columbia Basin sophomore Julissa Rodriguez padded a hat trick with a fourth goal in the 68th minute on an assist from freshman Nicole Dalrymple as CBC earned its fourth straight win with a 6-1 road decision.

CENTRALIA -- Brittany Weiand had 50 assists to support Columbia Basin's games-winning attack at the Centralia Crossover tournament as the Hawks defeated both Wenatchee (25-21, 25-15) and Umpqua (25-13, 23-25, 16-14).

PASCO -- Amber Durand had 12 kills and Kim Jimenez had a game-high 20 digs, but it wasn't enough as Columbia Basin fell in four sets (25-18, 13-25, 26-24, 25-23) to visiting Wenatchee Valley on Wednesday in an NWAACC East contest.

PASCO -- Amber Durand had 15 kills and Eva Grassl added 11 more as Columbia Basin defeated Clackamas 21-25, 25-13, 25-15, 22-25, 15-13 in a nonleague match.

BELLEVUE -- The Columbia Basin College women's soccer team is already back on top.

SPOKANE -- Amber Durand had 17 kills and six blocks, but Columbia Basin lost matches to Tacoma and tournament host Spokane at the Spokane Invite.

PORT ANGELES -- Columbia Basin's Eduardo Arzate scored on a penalty kick in the 92nd minute to forge a 1-1 tie at Peninsula in NWAACC men's play.

YAKIMA -- Amber Durand had 13 kills, 15 digs, four aces and three blocks to lead the Columbia Basin College volleyball team to a 25-18, 25-23, 25-18 victory at Yakima Valley on Wednesday in the NWAACC East opener for both teams.

KENT -- Connell graduate KieOsha Winchester scored unassisted in the 44th minute and goalie Amanda Freisz made five saves as Columbia Basin (3-0-1) won at Green River in NWAACC play.

PASCO -- Pasco product Eddie Mendoza had a goal and an assist, and Junior Ayala of West Valley-Yakima added two assists as the Columbia Basin College men handed North Idaho College a 3-2 nonleague loss.

SALEM, Ore. -- Gustavo Bermudez scored three goals and assisted on the other to lead second-year program Chemeketa Community College over visiting Columbia Basin 4-0 in men's soccer.

PASCO -- Three Columbia Basin pitchers combined on a three-hitter, and CBC scored three runs in the eighth to rally for a 4-3 victory over Treasure Valley in the championship game of the NWAACC East tournament in Pasco.

PASCO -- Marcelino Morales went 5-for-9 and drove in three runs as Columbia Basin beat Blue Mountain 11-4 and Treasure Valley 4-3 in an NWAACC East regional tournament game.

WALLA WALLA -- CBC second baseman Amy Woodland hit a two-run single in the top of the eighth to put the Hawks ahead 6-3, then made a diving stop on a grounder for a game-ending fielder's choice as they closed out the season with a split with tournament-bound Walla Walla.
